Challenge the practice is addressing: Application of the life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) methodology and IMPACT 2002 to the SecREEts supply chain in order to assess the impact on the environment from the quantities of emissions produced and resources consumed by the life cyle of a system.

Concrete practice to achieve the expected goal: The lifecycle assessment focuses on the five IMPACT 2002+ end -point over the entire life cycle of the processes. The endpoint indicators are: greenhouse gas emissions, resources depletion, water withdrawal, human health and ecosystem quality.

Expected impact/goal of the practice: To assess the environmental impacts from the SecREEts value chain.

Who is the target user group of the practice/intervention or implementing the practice/intervention? Mainly industry but public policy as well
