The plan is meant to be a voluntarily drafted document which defines the ways in which the relationships will be established and how the engagement activities should look like. The document can be updated when relationships deepen
Concrete practice to achieve the expected goal: The tool for the Community Engagement Plan consists of three different sections 1) key points of community engagement for the company to consider, 2) key points of communication for the company to consider and 3) topics that should be addressed collaboratively with the community. Each of the sections has either concrete suggestions for the company to take up or questions/topics that community and company should address and discuss together.
Expected impact/goal of the practice: The tool provides a concrete starting point for community engagement and helps the company to address all the necessary topics in order to establish functional community-company relationships.
